pause was deleted from the language in Fortran 95; compilers accept it only as an extension.

For one occurrence, with the reason on the same line (or alone on the line before the statement):

! fobis: ignore[OBS007] <why this occurrence is fine>

For the whole project, ignore = OBS007 in the fobos [lint] section.
