MDN201 old-mpi-module

warning opt-in

use mpi instead of use mpi_f08.

Why

The mpi module gives only partial argument checking (handles are plain integers, buffers are untyped); mpi_f08 provides typed handles (type(MPI_Comm) ...) and optional ierror, so the compiler catches mismatched arguments.

Reported

fortran
use mpi

Preferred

fortran
use mpi_f08

Suppressing

For one occurrence, with the reason on the same line (or alone on the line before the statement):

fortran
! fobis: ignore[MDN201] <why this occurrence is fine>

For the whole project, ignore = MDN201 in the fobos [lint] section.
